How to Watch

Watching on a VR Headset (Recommended)

To enjoy the videos in full immersive 360°, we recommend using a VR headset such as Meta Quest, Pico, or any headset with the YouTube VR app. Viewers should be seated when watching.

Option A: Using YouTube VR

Turn on your VR headset.
Open the YouTube VR app.
Search for: Ulster-Scots in VR.
Select any of the videos to watch them in full 360°.

Option B: Using the browser inside your headset

Open the headset’s web browser.
Go to YouTube.com.
Search for: Ulster-Scots in VR.
Choose a video and it will play in 360° mode.

Option C: Downloading the 360° files directly to your headset

If you would like to watch the videos offline or at the highest possible quality, you can request the original 360° video files.

1. Contact us via social media or our contact page, and we can provide downloadable versions compatible with VR headsets.

2. Once downloaded, the files can be placed into your headset’s Videos or Movies folder and viewed using your device’s built-in VR video player.
